Travel by car 
Arriving via Westautobahn A1(western motorway)

When you arrive at the city of Vienna on the Western Motorway (A1 Westautobahn) you just follow the street straight on. You will pass Schonbrunn Palace to your right an continue on Schonbrunner Strasse until you reach the multi-laned Margareten Gurtel. Here you make a right turn into Margarenten Gurtel and follow the Gurtel until its name is Wiedner Gurtel up to Sudtiroler Platz. Here you take a left turn into Favoritenstrasse and at the fourth corner you make a right turn into Belvederegasse (the third corner would have been Karolinengasse already but you cannot enter as it is a one-way street). You continue on Belvederegasse until you see a church to your right (two blocks), here you make a right turn an go around the church into Karolinengasse. After the next corner (Viktorgasse) there is the building No. 28.

Arriving via Sudautobahn A2 (southern motorway)

When you arrive to Vienna via the Southern motorway (Sudautobahn A2) just follow the signs that say "Zentrum" (= center). You will get into the multi-laned Triesterstrasse, which you follow across the hill "Wiener Berg" until you get to a big crossing underneath a railway passing. Here you take a right turn into Margareten Gurtel and follow the Gurtel until its name is Wiedner Gurtel up to Sudtiroler Platz. Here you take a left turn into Favoritenstrasse and at the fourth corner you make a right turn into Belvederegasse (the third corner would have been Karolinengasse already but you cannot enter as it is a one-way street). You continue on Belvederegasse until you see a church to your right (two blocks), here you make a right turn an go around the church into Karolinengasse. After the next corner (Viktorgasse) there is the building No. 28.

Arriving via A22 (coming from direction Prague)

If you arrive to Vienna from Prague via the Donauufer motorway (A22), you follow the motorway up to Kaisermuhlen junction, where you exit onto A23 (direction Graz/A2/Linz). On this motorway you will cross the danube and you stay on the motorway for about 4,5 kilometers/2.8 miles until you reach the exit Gurtel/Landstrasser Hauptstrasse. Now you follow Landstrasser Gurtel until you see Belvedere Palace to your right. Here you take a right turn into Prinz Eugen Strasse. At the third corner you take a left turn into Karolinengasse, which you follow up to No. 28 (passing the church).

Arriving via Ostautobahn (eastern motorway) A4
(coming from direction airport or Hungary/Slovakia)

If you arrive to Vienna via the Eastern motorway (A4 Ostautobahn) coming from the airport or Hungary, just follow the signs that say "Zentrum". At the Prater junction you take the exit onto A23, which you follow for 2 kilometers/1.2 miles to the exit Gurtel/Landstrasser Hauptstrasse. Now you follow Landstrasser Gurtel until you see Belvedere Palace to your right. Here you take a right turn into Prinz Eugen Strasse. At the third corner you take a left turn into Karolinengasse, which you follow up to No. 28 (passing the church).

Arriving from Vienna International Airport
When you arrive at Vienna International Airport you have the following options to get to the center of Vienna "WIEN MITTE":
1) You can either take the City Airport Train (CAT). This train goes nonstop every 5 and 35 minutes after each hour to "Wien Mitte". It takes 16 minutes and costs 9.- EUR, the tickets can be purchased at vending machines at the platform.
2) You can also take the slower S-Bahn "S7", departure times are 9 and 39 minutes after each hour, travel time is 24 minutes, tickets cost 3.60 EUR (for 2 zones, also valid for ongoing public transport in Vienna) and can be purchased at vending machines at the platform.
From "Wien Mitte" please take the green metro line U4 (direction Hutteldorf) and go two stops to "Karlsplatz", where you change to metro line U1 (red line), which will take you to "Sudtiroler Platz" (2 stops). On Sudtiroler Platz you take the exit Kolschitzkygasse/Weyringergasse and walk down Favoritenstrasse to the next corner, where you turn right into Karolinengasse. You will find Shermin Apartments at No 28.

Arriving from West Station Vienna (Westbahnhof)
To get to Shermin Apartments on Karolinengasse 28 from the Western Railway station (Westbahnhof), you take metro line U3 (orange) direction Simmering. At the Stephansplatz stop you change to line U! (red), which will take you to "Sudtiroler Platz" (2 stops). On Sudtiroler Platz you take the exit Kolschitzkygasse/Weyringergasse and walk down Favoritenstrasse to the next corner, where you turn right into Karolinengasse. You will find Shermin Apartments at No 28.

From Sudbahnhof (Southern railway station) / Wien Meidling
Since Vienna's Southern Railway station Sudbahnhof will be under construction until 2013, most trains stop at Wien Meidling. To get to Shermin Apartments on Karolinengasse 28 from Wien Meidling you need to take one of the S-Bahn lines that all pass this station (S1, S2, S3, S5) and go for 2 stops to "Sudtiroler Platz". On Sudtiroler Platz you take the exit Kolschitzkygasse/Weyringergasse and walk down Favoritenstrasse to the next corner, where you turn right into Karolinengasse. You will find Shermin Apartments at No 28.
